The fundamental value of our firm is a unique commitment to our clients and the impact we jointly bring about through the collaborative growth process. Our global firm works with an integrated approach across regions, sectors, and disciplines to ensure our clients experience an immediate improvement in performance and build long-term organizational health. Our clients have full access to all the knowledge we have built through decades of experience consulting, researching, and developing expertise in a wide range of subject matters.
The quality of our people determines how well we serve our clients, and we focus tremendous resources on identifying, hiring, and developing them. See our Sociocultural Commitments for more information on our diversity standing.
We recognize and embrace the power of diverse experiences and peoples. At Spark Growth, we believe diverse positions are vital to vibrant ecosystems as individualism elevates teams, communities, and our day-to-day work.
Diversity is not always celebrated in workplaces and communities. At Spark Growth, we know that diversity is the material that builds intelligent and creative ecosystems where people love to live and play. We seek to elevate diverse voices and reject any hatred and divisiveness against the celebration of diversity.
Business Development is about sustainable, strategic growth. In today’s world, development is a blend of already identified goals and objectives that trend toward sustained improvement. Defined goals and objectives are combined with understanding the current position, identifying new opportunities, and mapping a plan to get from today to tomorrow. During this process, monitoring and feedback provide opportunities for course adjustments, keeping the business on track in a rapidly changing marketplace.
Economic Development fosters the creation of wealth by connecting together people, ideas, and capital to create value in the marketplace. There are a variety of ways to measure this value including number of startup businesses, increased jobs, return on investment through attracting business expansions, and other metrics.
Numerous activities can be implemented to accomplish Economic Development objectives. Fostering entrepreneurial activities (such as startups and business incubation) are powerful ways to execute economic growth at the local level. Another way is to attract business expansions from other places – both domestic and international (soft landings).
Although economic development activity is typically tied to a particular geographic area such as a metropolitan region, that geography may be further defined by the Scope of Work that an entity may choose to work within. On a smaller scale than the entire metro area, Innovation Districts development is a way of focusing on providing a more localized economic impact.
Innovation Districts are unique developments that provide better places to live, work, and play. There may be multiple Innovation Districts within a given metro area, and each Innovation District in turn focuses on economic development activity in a place-specific way by creating community-authentic solutions. See our “Innovation Districts Development Services” for more information on how creating these live-work-play spaces can have a positive impact on your region.

What can you really do? You can change the world! That may sound scary, but it starts by showing up, taking action, making your voice heard.
At Spark Growth – we start by showing up. It’s funny how much success in life comes simply by showing up. If you don’t show up, you don’t get to play.
We take action. Thinking big doesn’t mean you have to start big – by starting small and building trust, you can do bigger things. You may have heard the old adage, “How do you eat an elephant?” And the answer is, “One bite at a time.”

We participate in the conversation. This is the conversation of collaboration, asking “What Could We Do Together?”
By thinking big, you can reach for your ultimate. Your Massive Transformative Purpose is the higher, aspirational purpose of your organization. With your MTP big enough to rally around, it inspires and it moves people and hearts. Start small, build trust by doing little things, and move forward toward BIG!
A Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP) is the higher, aspirational purpose of the organization, capturing the hearts and minds of those both inside and (especially) outside of the organization. (Don’t miss this video about MTP)
