Spark Growth is excited to announce that Founder Sara Hand has been invited to participate in the invitation-only Enabling Economies for the Future Summit September 26 and 27 at Harvard University.

In a global world, simply providing the basic necessities including education, infrastructure and resources is not enough. To lead in the next generation, cities need to enable and drive innovation in their communities, providing creative solutions to urban problems to improve the quality of life and economic opportunities of citizens.

The 2015 Strategic Innovation Summit on Enabling Economies for the Future asks: what makes cities future-ready? Learning, discussion, and best practices exchange will focus on what leaders measure, track and change to enable their cities to be innovation leaders in the future.

Most importantly, the Summit will address the critical leadership attributes required to choose a mix of collaborative strategies, governance models and technologies that will help make communities ready for the future. The criteria defined at the summit will be used by an independent research firm to develop a rankings list of the Top 50 Future-Ready Cities around the world.
