Join local community leaders and entrepreneurs at the first public event and lunch and learn **Note Lunch Registration Required – to discover more about Station 2 and what is envisioned to become the business-social hub of the region, where people stop in to work, connect with colleagues, build a business, and learn from other members of the culture.

In the Bradenton area, the Station-2-Innovation project will be a foundational component of early stage company growth, and will work synergistically with community organizations whose mission is economic growth and community redevelopment.

The co-work and interdisciplinary business incubation programs run here will develop and support entrepreneurial and student networks – to grow young local companies, create jobs, and facilitate translation of local brainpower into wealth. It will provide a place for young people to learn and grow a business, and stem the brain-drain from our area schools and businesses.

Redevelopment, to be successful, is about more than refurbishing buildings or creating new construction projects. Station 2 Innovation Center will participate through educational programs in the development of people, who will in turn start local businesses that will have the potential to become high growth companies. Not only will we work with young people, but in working across economic sectors and age groups, economic development at this level transforms communities in many ways.

Station-2-Innovation Open House will be from 2pm until 5:30pm for visitors to drop by and take a look at development plans, meet other entrepreneurs, sponsors and potential mentors.
