BRADENTON, Fla. – November 16, 2014 – Celebrate Suncoast Entrepreneurship on November 19th with Jerry Ross from the National Entrepreneurship Center and Spark Growth of Sarasota-Bradenton. Jerry Ross, serial entrepreneur and executive director of the National Entrepreneur Center, will be speaking on November 19th at the Manatee Performing Arts Center in downtown Bradenton just around the corner from Manatee River’s scenic Riverwalk.

“We are a small business state, so when we increase our small business capacity not only are we building a stronger community but a stronger economy as well!  Global Entrepreneurship Week reminds us that we need to focus on entrepreneurship and small businesses to effectively compete in the global marketplace today,” affirms Jerry Ross.

This is a free open event in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) where attendees will discover how public/private partnerships and community collaboration can lead to an economic harvest for Sarasota and Manatee counties, and the greater area. This fast paced session explores a new model of economic development through small business development and it will also serve as an introduction for some to the newly established non-profit Station 2 Innovation Center business and tech incubator in downtown Bradenton started by Spark Growth’s Sara Hand and Stan Schultes.

This event is free thanks to the generous support of sponsors. Registration is required.
