The 2015 Strategic Innovation Summit: Enabling Economies for the Future gathered leaders at the forefront of innovation to discuss what makes cities future ready

Innovations like those in Boston and Riverside are easy to spot, but many cities are finding them hard to reproduce. To identify ways to jumpstart the process, municipal officials, entrepreneurs, technology executives and scholars gathered on the campus of Harvard University to discuss lessons from the world’s most innovative cities.

“Our goal is to simply understand how our communities and cities can play a role in enabling an innovation economy of the future,” said Professor David Ricketts, who chaired the 2015 Strategic Innovation Summit: Enabling Economies for the Future. The event, sponsored by Dell, was hosted by the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard.
